AZERBAIJAN (3 NIGHTS – 4 DAYS)

 Day 01: Arrival

  • Arrive at the Heydar Aliyev International Airport. You will be welcomed by the tour guide and then transferred to your hotel.
  • Check-in at the hotel.
  • Free time.
  • Overnight in Baku.
  • Baku is the capital and largest city of Azerbaijan, as well as the largest city on the Caspian Sea and of the Caucasus region. The city is the scientific, cultural and industrial center of Azerbaijan. Baku hosted the 57th Eurovision Song Contest in 2012, the 2015 European Games, the 2016 European Grand Prix and the 4th Islamic Solidarity Games and Azerbaijan Grand Prix in 2017 and UEFA Euro 2020. 

Day 02: Baku urban excursion

  • Breakfast at the hotel.

  • The Heydar Aliyev Center is a 57,500 m^2 (619,000 sq. ft.) building complex in Baku, Azerbaijan designed by Iraqi-British architect Zaha Hadid and noted for its distinctive architecture and flowing, curved style that eschews sharp angles. The center is named for Heydar Aliyev, the leader of Soviet-era Azerbaijan from 1969 to 1982, and president of Azerbaijan from October 1993 to October 2003.
  • National Flag Square (Azerbaijani: Dövlət Bayrağı Meydanı) is a large city square off Neftchiler Avenue in Bayil, Baku, Azerbaijan. A flag measuring 70 by 35 meters (230 by 115 feet) flies on a pole 162 m (531 ft.) high. The flagpole was confirmed as the world’s tallest by the Guinness Book of Records, but was soon overtaken by the 165 m Dushanbe Flagpole in Tajikistan. Both flagpoles were built by the same American affiliated company, Trident Support.
  • Flame Towers Complex – the city’s tallest building. The height of 190 m. Flame Towers – consisting of three high-rise buildings in the complex. These hostels, apartments and offices are included. The total area of 235 thousand square meters of the building.
  • Martyrs’ Lane, Alley of Martyrs or Şəhidlər Xiyabanı (transliterated to Shehidler Khiyabani), is a cemetery and memorial in Baku, Azerbaijan dedicated to those killed by the Soviet Army during Black January and later to those killed in Nagorno-Karabakh War.
  • Baku Funicular (Azerbaijani: Bakı funikulyoru). It connects a square on Neftchilar Avenue and Martyrs’ Lane. It is the first and remains the only funicular system in the country. The funicular was constructed at initiative of Alish Lambaranski. It was opened in 1960. Tofig Ismayilov has been the director of the funicular since 2006.
  • Baku Upland Park – spectacular view of Baku, near to flame towers with a beautiful garden.
  • Transfer to Hotel.
  • Overnight in Baku. 

Day 03: Absheron: Temple of Fire – Fire Mountain Tours.

  • Breakfast at the hotel.
  • Excursion program:
  • Transfer to Temple of fire Atəşgah.
  • Visit The Baku Ateshgah (In Azerbaijani: Atəşgah), often called the “Fire Temple of Baku” is a castle-like religious temple in Surakhani, the suburb in Baku, Azerbaijan.
  • Visiting Mardakan Castle – is a quadrangular castle in Baku, Azerbaijan.
  • Visiting Gala museum is forty kilometers from Baku . There you can see how the Azerbaijani lived, what they ate and drank and how they managed a household over the period from the XVI to XIX centuries.
  • Visit Yanar Dag (In Azerbaijani: Yanar Dağ, meaning “burning mountain”) is a natural gas fire which blazes continuously on a hillside on the Absheron Peninsula on the Caspian Sea near Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan (a country which itself is known as “the Land of Fire”). Flames jet into the air 3 meters (9.8 ft.) from a thin, porous sandstone layer. Administratively, Yanar Dag belongs to Absheron District of Azerbaijan. The Yanar Dag fire is never extinguished. Around this open fireplace the atmosphere is filled with the smell of gas. The flames emanate from vents in sandstone formations and rise to a height of 10 meters (33 ft.).
  • Transfer to the hotel in Baku.
  • Overnight in Baku.

Day 04: Departure.

  • Breakfast at the hotel.
  • Transfer to the airport.
  • End on the Program.
